写真家・小池貴之による湿板写真を用いた制作の作品集です。 2024年4月〜5月かけて東京・金柑画廊において開催した写真展「光と気配」で発表した作品を収めました。 ■ ステートメント | Statement 　子供の頃、私は近くの山に小さな小屋を作った。一人しか入ることができないその空間の奥に浜で拾ったガラスの浮き玉を置いた。 　差し込んだ木漏れ日がガラスの中の気泡を照らし、風が吹くたび輝く様子に少しの感動と怖さを感じたことを覚えている。 この自らと或る物体の間に現れる不思議な気配に、畏怖の念を抱く体験は日々起こる。これは人間の本能なのではないだろうか。 　我々は光や影は見えても気配は見えないはずである。しかしゾクゾクとするその感覚は、確かに二次元のイメージの中に見えることがある。私は湿板写真を用いてその不思議な現象の再構築を試みる。 When I was a child, I built a small hut on a nearby mountain. In the corner of the hut, which could only hold one person, I placed a glass floating ball that I had collected on the beach. I recall feeling a mixture of excitement and apprehension as the sun shone through the trees, casting a glow on the bubbles within the glass and causing them to shimmer in the breeze. This kind of awe-inspiring experience of a mysterious presence that emerges between myself and an object happens every day. I believe this is a human instinct. We perceive light and shadow, yet the aura is elusive and remains invisible. However, I occasionally feel this strangely captivating sensation in two-dimensional images.
